My Story
It all started in September of 2011. Over Thirteen years ago now, I was your average single mom with three teenage daughters. My middle daughter had a passion for dancing. As a mother I wanted to be able to provide her as many dance opportunities as possible. These opportunities often come with a high price. I made the choice to join Scentsy to help earn extra money to pay for my daughter’s dance team. Little did I know that this would turn into a the most amazing life changing journey, for not only myself but also my three daughters and has now carried over to my grandkids.
In 2013 my family faced some very tragic, trying events. During this time we were all very broken, sad and lost. At the time I was unable to see how my business was helping with our situations. Now, I can see that having this business was truly our saving grace. It really is way more than wax and warmers, it's a big family you never knew you needed.
Scentsy has helped to teach us many valuable life lessons. We have all learned how, and how not to run a small business. We have learned accountability, the importance of being timely, professionalism, financial management and most importantly to just go for it! As my daughters have gotten older my grandkids have taken their place as “helpers” they look forward to helping me label products, make deliveries and bag up orders. I also look forward to these learning activities as it’s great quality time with them.
With Scentsy I've visited places a once struggling single mom of 3 could only ever dream of. I have earned ten all expenses paid incentive trips and attended events around the world.
Scentsy has taken me to Whistler BC, Bahamas, Cyprus, Las Vegas NV, New York City (Twice) Kansas City Mo., New Orleans, Spain, France, Italy, Disneyland in Anaheim California, Marco Island FL, Austin TX, Hawaii, Gatlinburg TN, Seattle WA, Alaska, Charlotte NC, Orlando FL and many smaller places in between. This business has truly opened up a whole new world of places.
Through Scentsy my life has been enriched with adventures, friends and experiences beyond ever imaginable to me before.
